Prof Homes and Loft Studio Canberra built and designed this home from scratch, with a brief to create a warm and welcoming environment for entertaining guests. To achieve this, we designed an open floor plan to provide a seamless flow from one space to another, creating an inviting atmosphere. This was particularly important as this home is located on a corner block.
The interior of the home reflects a sense of elegance and sophistication. The house’s interior architectural style is modern and contemporary, with clean lines and a minimalist approach. The internal layout is designed to maximise natural light, with large windows and an open-plan living area.

This home is the result of a strong client, builder and designer relationship, made successful through trust, professionalism and collaboration. Our clients, the owners of Mastaflow and SolarArk Australia, faced a nonstop life, an in ability to travel, a growing family, and a desire to maximise inefficient or unused spaces; saw the need to renovate and extend their home. Taking on contemporaryand minimalist styling, we seamlessly renovated the house to feel resort-likeacross the property and extended the space to include a luxurious outdoorentertaining area that the clients can enjoy all year round.

The clients of this property are regular entertainers, and wanted white as the focal colour throughout the home. The open-plan layout of the entryway maximises natural light and is offset by the black marble of the entertainer’s kitchen and bathroom, creating a cohesive sense of luxury in these spaces. Marble is the ultimate functional design tool as it ensures the kitchen will not only look great now, but in years to come. Our selections prioritised finding balance to create white, liveable spaces.

We redesigned this formerly outdated and ineffective space to be a luxurious and spacious bedroom and ensuite. Complemented by natural wooden floorboards, finished with hand-picked artwork and upholstery—giving the master bedroom a textured, luxurious and sleek look. We altered the entryway of the ensuite to increase this space and the bedroom, which doubled the cupboard storage and created room for an in-built dresser and double vanity.

Our client wanted a chic and modern style design for their forever home, and within different rooms, a different colour palette. In the kitchen, we used natural tones and themes and incorporated wood floors and beehive tile patterns. In the bathrooms, we stuck to a simple and cool-toned palette. However, to maintain cohesion throughout the home, we incorporated black elements in every room.

The clients of this home are jewellery designers, and in their renovation, they wanted the opulence they see in their work to be reflected in their home. In every section of the house, we added jewel-like and luxurious features, including wallpaper in the ceiling, a metallic basin in the powder room, a bar area with a low chandelier, and a personalised/ornamental feel throughout the home.
